Financial set-off support system
Our client is in business of financial set-off. They needed a system to support their customer communication, finding set-off opportunities, printing and sending documents (contracts, invoices etc.)
The solution we developed is designed on top of their existing accounting application, which already contains customer registry and is also responsible for invoice and credit notes issuing. Since they use SBS domain, AD is used for authentication and also to retrieve user information (name, phone number etc.). Word documents in XML format are used for printed documents.
Technology used: ASP.NET 2.0, C#, MS SQL, AD authentication, AD integration, XML
HR and financial data integration
Our client is a major local company who is in the process of replacing the ERP application. The new ERP is being implemented and in the process legacy systems are slowly to be phased out. In the mean time, data from existing legacy systems must be imported into the new system.
We developed a set of SQL Server procedures that import the data from legacy systems into the new ERP.
Technology used: MS SQL
B2B bidding and invoicing system
Our client is one of the major local companies in construction. They work with subcontractors. They needed a bidding system where they could publish construction site work specification and then chose one of the bids. Selected bid is entered in the ERP system as supply order. The subcontractor has to issue a monthly invoice that has to match the bid and must not exceed bid amounts.
We developed a B2B web portal that supports the bidding process and invoicing. The portal has internal pages, accessible only to site administrators which supports: publishing specifications, collecting bids, user and partner management. External pages are accessible to registered users and supports bidding and monthly invoicing. In order to simplify invoicing process, all data (except amounts) is pre-entered and a special grid was developed that supports move to next row on enter key press. Data is imported into ERP by an off-line procedure, using XML.
Technology used: ASP.NET 2.0, C#, MS SQL 2005, Forms authentication, XML
Intranet business application platform
Our client is a Software Development company, developing a product to support business processes.
We participated at product specification, architecture, coding and testing. We helped develop a generic document management and workflow engines. The document management engine supports XML documents, nested documents, attachments and authorization. The workflow engine supports custom workflow for each document and actions depending on document state and user authorization.
On top of that, we also helped develop some business modules: support for administration meetings, order processing and invoice processing.
Technology used: ASP.NET 2.0, C#, MS SQL 2005, XML, AD authentication
Mobile Content Management System
Our client is a Software Development company, developing a CMS for mobile operators.
We developed the administration module for the CMS.
Technology used: ASP.NET, C#
Time tracking for industrial environment
Our client produces custom stainless steel products. They needed to track time spent and cost of each order they process. They already had order, customer and HR data in their ERP system. A special requirement was that the system must be very easy to use by workers.
We developed a system built on top of ERP system that supports time tracking in industrial environment. In the production hall is located a terminal, eqipped with bar-code scanner. Each order is equipped with bar-code. Additionally, each worker has a personal id with a bar-code. Workers log-on and off an order just by scanning order and their cards.
The back-office has the control and overview of current production processes and has the following reports available: work spent on an order, work by a worker, cost by an order.
Technology used: ASP.NET, C#, MS SQL
